Coolabaroo Housing Services
Coolabaroo Housing Service (CHS) was established in 1990 initially to provide transitional housing to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth. The program was later amended to provide transitional housing to families. CHS provides weekly case management for clients to develop their goals and empower them to achieve their ultimate goal of securing long term housing. This program is funded through the Department of Communities- Family Services [DCFS].
